No Man is an Island
OTO developed a strategy for Hoorn80 together with Buro Moon, Metabolic and C-A-S.
This strategy called “No man is an Island” offers a new perspective for a sustainable industrial area using the energytransition as an incentive. A new collective network is proposed to exchange energy and resources between different companies, which at the same improves the overall spatial quality of this area.
Sensing Streetscapes
OTO will participate in a research program of Hogeschool van Amsterdam, which is called Sensing Streetscapes: co-researching emerging technologies for enhancing urban design. The research focuses mainly on the design of urban streetscapes in high density environments with a focus on the human scale.

OTO selected for competition Zwijndrecht!
Together with Ziegler Branderhorst, we are one of four selected teams to deliver a proposal for the Binnenplein site in Zwijndrecht. We are happy to be part of this competition organised by Team Vlaams Bouwmeester.

Design for Landgoed Gravenstein
OTO has been selected for the design of landgoed Gravenstein. In collaboration with the owner and Abrahamse de Kock architects, we will develop a scenario which will breath new life into this area. OTO was commissioned to develop a proposal by Tres Invest.
OTO presents Start Up Farm
Last week OTO presented, together with Buro Moon and Ravenkop, our project Start-up Farm at the final meeting of Brood & Spelen in Den Bosch. This project shows the potention of new agricultural entrepeneurship for rural areas based on circular principles, inspired bij the urban start-up examples. As a team we believe that diverse entrepreneurship and the space to experiment in small-scale agricultural and horticultural businesses can be the innovation engine for this sector. Start-up Farm Decohof is the first example based on these principles, providing space and a circular system for different kind of activities within a green-blue framework.

OTO presents Masterplan Hoven van Dadi
OTO presents the new masterplan Hoven van Dadi. The plan features a new public spongepark with new housing developments and recreational program, reconnecting the site with Dadizele. Developed in close cooperation with Ziegler Branderhorst for the province West-Vlaanderen, Moorslede and Floralux NV.
