OTO landscape architecture is, together with B-architects, preselected to work on housing block and courtyard in Antwerp. We are looking forward to this project.
OTO presents design Damsterdiep
OTO landscape architecture will transform Damsterplein into a green, attractive and climate adaptive square. This transformation will open up new perspectives for this underused square which is currently coping with problems related to heat stress, water, safety and pollution caused by traffic. The proposal show a transformation into a lush green square as central meeting place in this part of Groningen.

OTO selected to work on design challenge Logistic Landscapes
What kind of new sustainable logistic landscapes can we imagine? And how will they perform? OTO will be working on this challenge and results will be presented at the Landscape Triennale this year. For this research by design we will team up with Buro Moon and C-A-S.
OTO starts working on waterhouderij
Can climate change be the inspiration for new typologies? OTO starts a feasability study to combine a waterhouderij and receational facility. We will investigate the potential of new combinations between land use and waterstorage above and underground.
Construction on Park Ter Walle has started!
Park Ter Walle is now under construction! This 4.4 hectare park, designed by OTO, is a citypark near the centre of Menen (BE). This contemporary hybrid between nature, culture and sportspark offers all kinds of activities for the residents, while offering habitat to birds and insects. Park Ter Walle is expected to be realized halfway 2020.
Climate adaptive Damsterplein
OTO is working on the transformation of Damsterplein. How can we transform this paved and underused urban heat island into a vibrant and climate adaptive space in the city of Groningen? This project is part of Let’s Gro, a yearly event in the city of Groningen about the (re)development of the city. Results expected in december 2019.
OTO selected for vacancy study
What are the potentials of vacant farms in the landscape of Flanders?
OTO is selected, together with Ziegler Branderhorst, by ILVO and the province of Oost-Vlaanderen icw Atelier Vlaams Bouwmeester to work on this research by design project. Results will be presented next month.
